Our journey to Pinehouse, Saskatchewan, to perform for the Metis Elders gathering was truly a remarkable experience. We felt deeply honoured to be invited and embraced by such a warm and welcoming community. Before taking the stage, we were gifted a Metis Nation Saskatchewan flag, symbolizing the unity and pride of the people we were about to entertain. The connection we forged with the Metis Elders was beyond words. Their wisdom, kindness, and appreciation for our tribute to CCR & John Fogerty’s music touched our hearts. We will forever cherish the memories of that night, and the flag will forever remind us of the incredible people we had the privilege of meeting. We hope to cross paths with them again someday, as the music continues to bind us together in the spirit of unity and joy.
